This event brings together leading researchers, industry innovators and city practitioners to showcase concrete solutions that accelerate the journey toward climate-neutral and nature-positive cities.  

Through presentations by Finnish and Swedish pioneers, the event highlights cutting-edge tools supporting climate action planning and progress monitoring. Participants will gain insights into national networks like Viable Cities, practical tools such as digital twins and participatory planning GIS, and real-world examples from cities and energy companies leading systemic change. 

The day features interactive panel discussions designed to spark collaboration and knowledge exchange across borders supporting cities in delivering measurable climate impact by 2030. This event, organized by VTT and RISE, is a continuation of annual Smart Cities forums around the globe, endorsed by the journal IET Smart Cities and IET.
